PhD Club lecture: Optimization of Methods for Analyzing Intact Proteins Using LC-MS and SPR by Denisa Kroupová

Dear colleagues,
I would like to invite you to the lecture by Denisa Kroupová called "Optimization of Methods for Analyzing Intact Proteins Using LC-MS and SPR". The lecture will be on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at 9AM in the room 1.09 at IMTM.

Abstract
This talk focuses on the characterization of intact proteins using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) as complementary techniques for understanding protein structure, interactions, and dynamics. By combining SPR and LC-MS, researchers can obtain both qualitative and quantitative insights into protein behavior in solution, protein-ligand interactions, and structural properties, providing a more comprehensive understanding of biological systems and aiding in drug discovery, biomarker identification, and other applications in molecular biology.
