Project registration number: FV10755
State funding provider: Ministry of Industry and Trade
Programme: FV - TRIO (2016 - 2022)
Start date: 2016-09-01
End date: 2020-08-31
Principal investigator: Hajdúch Marián M.D., Ph.D.
1. Development of novel detection systems for in vitro diagnostics based on plasmonic nanoparticles with variable internal structure, surface and a attached ligands. These nanosystems will allow for direct visualization of the detected biomarkers directly in tissues and cells using unexpectional light microscopy with high signal stability, high contrast and sensitivity. 2. Verification of the applicability of these visualization systems based on nanoparticles for routine analysis of biomarkers using immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization techniques. Their comparison with existing detection standards. 3. To use these unique detection systems for development of new prodicts for tissue/cell in vitro diagnostics.
