Behind a shift in development of gagrling tests is the team of Marián Hajdúch, director of the IMTM. The test using gargling was first developed to ease sampling for cancer patients suffering from mucosal problems. This method is also significantly more pleasant for many patients. Instead of the usual nasopharyngeal swab, it's enough to gargle your mouth with water and then spit it out into a prepared cup with stabilizing powder. The sample is examined by PCR method in the laboratories. GARGTEST will be available in pharmacies soon.
