In the ceremonial hall of the Archbishop's Palace in Olomouc, eight personalities received the Olomouc City Award for 2020 and the Achievment Awards of 2020. Since 1998, the City of Olomouc has been regularly awarding these awards to people who are connected with Olomouc and who have contributed to its visibility and its improvement with their work. IMTM's director Marián Hajdúch recieved the Olomouc City Award for contribution in science and research. As he said himself, the award belongs not only to him but to all colleagues and scientists at IMTM.
