Dear colleagues,
let me invite you to our first workshop in the PhD club history. We will begin our series of workshops with an introduction to open science, presented by Palacky's University Open science experts Radomir Sztwiertnia and Tereza Motalová. The workshop will be held at the usual place and time of the PhD club, seminary room 1.09 at IMTM on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at 9 AM.
In the first part of the workshop, the coordinator of Open Science KUP Radomir Sztwiertnia will present An introduction to open science. Tereza Motalová, research data methodologist, will deliver a presentation called A condition of open science at UP.
The topic of open science is very current and it has become part of grant applications. Open access publications are often required outputs of projects. However, the workshop will look at the topic holistically not only from the point of view of published outputs.
