Translational medicine
Introduction
The Translational Medicine research program was begun to bring together clinicians and scientists such that discovery could be translated to a cure. Research personnel collate, analzye and store clinical information from medical records from hospitals, clinical laboratories and national registries. The program provides support for the selection and design of patient cohorts for phase I-III clinical trials. This includes support for proof-of-concept clinical trials phase I-IIa, pharmacokinetics and biomarker trials, and bioequivalence trials for generics and biosimilars.
