Development and basic characterization of the cell line resistant to the CDK inhibitors
Bachelor thesis will be focused on the preparation of the resistant clones towards the class of the CDK inhibitors which are used in the cancer treatment and are used in the clinic or in the clinical trials. We plan to use different approaches how to reach the resistant population. After the selection of the resistant cells, the resistant population will be tested for the proliferation characteristics and cross-resistance and general mechanisms of the resistance. Part of the thesis will be summary reviewing currently known mechanisms of the CDKi resistance.
